Why We're Building This

Real stories from our founder and early members.

Kasisi Johnson Kĩriakũ Kĩnyua
"I've spent three years learning what East African diaspora families truly need. Through Radio Kenya United and dozens of interviews, I discovered belonging isn't just about content - it's about trusted circles where you can be fully yourself. That's why I'm building Jirani Connect - starting with one circle at a time, shaped by real members, not assumptions."

"I'm tired of generic networking events that don't understand the unique challenges we face - visa struggles, credential barriers, building businesses while navigating diaspora life. That's why I'm joining Monday's Discovery Session. I want to help build what we actually need."
